I was deeply honoured to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of my contributions to digital strategy and innovation within the federal government. This medal is a reflection of the transformative work I’ve led — from modernizing service delivery and driving enterprise-wide change, to shaping inclusive digital policies that better serve Canadians. It represents years of pushing boundaries, challenging outdated systems, and building bridges between technology, leadership, and public trust. I’m proud of the tangible results this work has delivered — more accessible services, streamlined operations, and a public service that’s more prepared for the future.
While I’ve stepped away from full-time public service, I continue to coach, mentor, and advise executives — both within government and in the private and non-profit sectors — on how to lead digital transformation with purpose. Whether through board work, executive workshops, or one-on-one mentoring, my focus remains on empowering leaders to embrace disruption, center the user, and lead with vision. Receiving this honour reminds me that our greatest impact often comes through the people we uplift and the systems we help evolve. The journey is far from over — and I remain committed to helping shape what comes next.
